It's been almost a year since I last tried boudoir photography. At the time, December 2022, I figured I would add this Genre to my portfolio and services. So I had another go at it.

Sadly no one hired me so far 🤡🤡🤡

And I think I know the reason. It feels to me that to be successful in this genre, you need to focus on it, since there is so much competition. I feel it's the same with weddings.

I do professionally, like almost everything, that I feel I can deliver upon.
And I enjoy having a new challenge and different assignments.

But still, I like boudoir photography, even though, I might never make a living on it :)

Some more impressions from my point and shoot camera in Portugal 📸

My most favoured combination these days is a rangefinder and a point and shoot, when going on vacation:)

It's the perfect mix between being able to make spontaneous pictures, or take your time to compose.

Also helps that both are literally light as a feather.

Starting today the second IAA (automobile exhibition) is opening in Munich.

Two years ago, I documented the protests against the first one.

Pretty sure there are gonna be huge protests this year as well, so I wish everyone participating peaceful and safe demonstrations.

Well, this took longer then expected but finally, here we go with some tutorial stuff 👨‍🏫

Since I'm the go to guy about questions on photography in my circle, why not make a series of posts about it.

First up, let's go into details in different lenses. I'm starting with the lense that had me going ahaaaa like none other when i first used it: the portrait lense 85 mm. Simply because i had no idea prior, how easy it can be to shoot amazing portraits 😅

I'm covering prime (fixed) lenses, since they produce more band for the buck then zoom lenses. 💁‍♂️

Wenn man lange als available light Fotograf in derselben Stadt arbeitet, stechen einen solche Locations immer wieder ins Auge und man erkennt sie immer wieder. Wie geht es euch damit? Gibt es schon Locations in München, die ihr einfach schon viel zu oft in Fotos gesehen habt?

Tolles Team, Atmosphäre und wirklich Bilder, die ich heute gerne noch zeige.
